The reference isn't wrong. A FOE engineer even came forward, anonymously of course, some time ago with details of the Rocam program only an insider would know...including the fact that Rocam is based on Kent. (many of the items he gave to indicate a Kent basis were genuinely just common sense things we should have recognized anyway) Unfortunately this isn't supposed to be enough for Wiki inclusion for obvious reasons, fortunately we have no credible original source stating that this is Zetec or Sigma based either so it apparently has slid by the watchdogs likely because it hasn't been challenged much. (my hat is off to the fella smart enough to include it in the first place) So please, don't rock the boat. This is one of the few automotive issues on Wikipedia which isn't so inaccurate it's laughable. Syr74 (talk) 14:55, 9 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think the bit about the Zetec-Rocam is wrong. Every other page says it's based on the Zetec-SE or Sigma engine, not the Kent/Endura-E. --22:08, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

Zetec RoCam merge

[edit]

These sections of the Ford Kent and Ford Zetec articles are almost identical, so should be merged into one:

Ford_Kent_engine#Zetec_RoCam

Ford_Zetec_engine#Zetec_Rocam_.28duratec_8v.29
