EMD SD35 Demonstrator #7715 was sold to Atlantic Coast Line #1000. The Demonstrator was added to the roster on the article page, roster now reflects original 360 units. C&O 7425 and 7428 were wrecked and replaced with new units with the same road numbers. Data from A J Kristopans website. --SSW9389 13:30, 25 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I heard somewhere that the SD35 doesn't actually have the same frame as the earlier SDs, but another frame type with the same dimensions. Is this true? SpaceCaptain 15:36, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Now corrected in article, frame was common with SD28, but not the earlier models, despite sharing common major dimensions. Compare steps, and side sills. SD28 and SD35 also had central air filtration and equipment blower, requiring redesign of frame. Wuhwuzdat (talk) 18:52, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
