notability, advert, grammar

[edit]

I respectfully submit that the article has reached a reasonably level of clarity regarding language, and definitely the subject is notable (as being the "official" OS for the Venezuela government - few OSs receive such rating anywhere), and also has received attention by several editors besides myself. I do agree the lede is a bit advert-like, might need minor editing, which I don't promise I will do :-), so I will leave that warning label, but remove the others, with understanding that I will assume good faith and reasonable fixes and different opinions. hmm, looking around it seems that Canaima has actually a "strong foothold", and maybe is indeed deserving of such an advert-like line. Then, it is not an advert. I an unsure if to remove the "advert" warning right away. I am open to different opinion, if substantiated, of course. YamaPlos talk 18:12, 25 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
This seems to be just another Debian-based Distribution with some nice Themes and Colors. I see no difference to Debian noted in this article?! 78.35.212.198 (talk) 15:37, 6 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Date format in table

[edit]

The dates in the table under "Releases" are using the ISO 8601 format (YYYY-MM-DD).[1] May Yamaplos or another editor state the reason to use this format? 84.127.115.190 (talk) 12:19, 20 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
