Prince & The Revolution

[edit]

This songs seems similar to an old Prince song from the 80's (back when he was still called Prince, not TAFKAP). Can't quite put my finger on it, but this song "looks" quite familiar, too bad i can't remember the name... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.59.121.205 (talk) 18:33, 30 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Meaning?

[edit]

I thought i had read in wikipedia that the real meaning of this song was a girl's orgasm. What happened with that information?

I've heard that too... listen carefully, almost sounds like it, doesn't it?

is this song from a soundtrack or show?

Blurb

[edit]

Nice song. But this article is purely promontional, one amalgamated article under the artist's name would suffice. Maikel 09:43, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. There is almost no substance apart from raw data and the substance that is there is almost entirely laudatory. It also uses language that is entirely inappropriate (weasel words etc). I have added tags to that effect. p.s. I think the song is wonderful. Three chords. And the lyrics . . feelgood music! :) LookingGlass (talk) 07:02, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The more I look the worse it gets! The article also ignores the role of iTunes in the promotion etc. I'd add that it is almost impossible (except in the venting of blogs!) to find negative reviews, so the reviews etc should be deleted. The album charts are also only indicative of what album charts do. They add no information of encyclopaedic relevance to the article. They do not for instance show in which charts the record did badly and they give no information on how the charts are compiled, who funds them etc. The table of chart entries should be simply an external link. —Preceding unsigned comment added by LookingGlass (talkcontribs) 07:28, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bubbly in French Charts.

[edit]

Sorry but Bubbly has not been released in France. Nor in French radio. You've done a mistake. Bubbly can't be fourth of our charts. Furthermore nobody knows her there. Please correct. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bliss59 (talkcontribs) 15:58, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That may be true, considering how the reference provided doesn't exist. <ref name = "achart" /> is given, but there is no ref in this article with that name.

In may 2008, Bubbly reached #7 on french download charts. So far it's her higher rank in this chart. Bubbly wasn't released for physical so far in France. [1] —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bliss59 (talkcontribs) 13:14, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ashley Bales?

[edit]

The song was originally written by Ashley Bales from Illinois. Bales sold the rights to Colbie's record label along with 3 other songs, of which 2 are also on Caillat's album. Colbie then edited it and used it for her song in Coco.[citation needed]

I deleted this unsourced statement from the main article. Colbie's website states she wrote the song; I don't have the disc myself, but I'm pretty sure someone who wrote the number one song on the US charts would have given credit somewhere. --65.32.150.153 22:02, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
