Dan Aykroyd is listed to have a cameo in this film. Can someone list where in the film he is? No other online source credits him in this movie.

In the scene where Joan Cusack is buying plane tickets (or getting a passport), at this bit of dialogue: "Will you be travelling alone?" "Yes, I'll be a widow." The guy she's speaking to looks very, very like Dan Aykroyd. I'd be surprised if it wasn't him, but it's really late and I'm not staying up another hour to watch the credits. That actor is Zack Phifer. 12.162.122.6 (talk) 06:30, 12 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm noting a discrepancy in the cast between the listing in the plot section and the cast section. The listing for Pubert Addams in the plot is the Hooper twins, and the cast section lists Ryan Spore Heywood. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.3.102.59 (talk) 07:36, 9 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Small role is not a Cameo

[edit]

The actors in small parts are listed as "Cameo roles", nobody I checked on had any basis to be considered as a Cameo appearance at the date of this film's production. Kid Bugs (talk) 16:47, 17 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Interview the writer from Addams Family Values:

  • Simon Abrams (November 21, 2018). "The Hidden Message of 'Addams Family Values'". The Hollywood Reporter. Archived from the original on November 21, 2018. Retrieved November 22, 2018.

The headline is nonsense, the message wasn't hidden "Family values" was right there in the film title the whole time. Family values was a well known phrase that has been part of Republican politics for decades. It was particularly topical and at the time in the news in 1992 when George HW Bush was trying to get reelected and used the phrase during his speech to Republican National Convention (New York Times). Not sure if it was the same speech but he went on about family values and how "we should be more like The Waltons and less like The Simpsons" which lead to the episode Two Bad Neighbors. It is pretty bizarre that anyone would miss the overt message. Aside from the oblivious headline it is a great in depth article. 25 years after the film was released THR interviews writer Paul Rudnick, and all the surviving cast members. There's a whole lot of information that could be used to expand this article, and also the article for the first film. -- 37.110.218.43 (talk) 10:25, 27 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
