Is centricles a typo or a real word?

[edit]

The Wikipedia:Typo Team/moss spell checker has found a possible typo that a copyeditor needs help to resolve. If centricles is misspelled, it can just be corrected in this article. If centricles is a legitimate word, it should be added to the English Wiktionary (which defines words in all languages) with a definition at wikt:centricles. Feel free to leave a note in this section if you do one of those things, or if you can provide any hints about this word. Thanks! -- Beland (talk) 17:39, 13 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Beland: It looks like a real word (Google Books), but it's something in neuroanatomy- nothing to do with historical events. DTLHS (talk) 17:29, 17 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@DTLHS: Any idea what the right word to use in this article would be? -- Beland (talk) 18:23, 17 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
In the origin edit it was capitalized, so I'm guessing we're looking for some misconstruction of a proper noun / name, if it wasn't entirely made up. DTLHS (talk) 18:30, 17 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
