Pratul Mukhopadhyay (25 June 1942 – 15 February 2025)[1] was an Indian Bengali-language singer,[2] creative artist and songwriter.[3] He is the writer and the singer of the famous Bengali song Ami Banglay Gan Gai[4] and Dinga Bhashao Sagore.[5] He was a playback singer in the Bengali film Gosaibaganer Bhoot.[6]

Death
[edit]He passed away on 15 February 2025 at the SSKM Hospital, Kolkata, West Bengal, India due to pancreatic ailments and other age-related health issues.[7]
