Michael Dailly is a Scottish video game designer, best known for designing Lemmings[1] and the original prototype of Grand Theft Auto, and is one of the four founders of DMA Design (now Rockstar North), alongside David Jones, Russell Kay, and Steve Hammond.[2]

Between 2010 and 2018, Dailly was working with YoYo Games as the lead developer of the GameMaker: Studio game engine.[3]

Dailly was given the lifetime achievement award at the 2023 Scottish Games Awards.[4]

Dailly is a supporter of Scottish independence and is a member of the Scottish National Party.[5]
