Josemilio González (1918–1990) was a Puerto Rican literary critic and editor.

He Went to the University of Puerto Rico, where he graduated in Liberal Arts, with specializations in Spanish, French and Philosophy. in 1940, Earned his Master's Degree in Arts at Boston University, Columbia University, Princeton University, and the Sorbonne.[1][2][3]

He was an instructor at the University of Puerto Rico from 1946 to 1948 and 1956 to 1963. He served in the legislature for the Puerto Rican Independence Party in 1952.[2]
