Bangla text
editI noticed that you removed the Bangla script name from A. K. Faezul Huq. Is it because you can't see the script? Please install some Bangla unicode fonts, and also configure your system as per WP:INDIC. Thank you. --Ragib 16:11, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

editBoth Kazi Nazrul Islam and Sheikh Mujibur Rahman are featured articles - the best on Wikipedia. Any relevant details to Fazlul Huq have been mentioned, but there is no justification to add special sections for a different person - it is called fancruft. Your additions were also unsourced. Rama's arrow (just a sexy boy) 23:01, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
- The question is about relevance. I don't see why that is a relevant trivia item in Sher-e-Bangla's biography. --Ragib 08:09, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
- I believe you missed the following text in Sheikh Mujib's biography: he was made the party's general secretary, and elected to the East Bengal Legislative Assembly on a United Front coalition ticket in 1954. Serving briefly as the minister for agriculture,
- Definitely, Fazlul Huq's biography deserves as much coverage as Mujib and Zia's. You can help by providing sources of information, photographs, etc. We are all here to enrich Wikipedia, in a systematic manner pursuant to policies. Thank you. --Ragib 08:25, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
International Poet of Merit
editConcerning your message, you'll note that at no point have I questioned the Dhaka Courier as a source. I have no doubt that A. K. Feazul Huq was inducted as an ‘International Poet of Merit' by the International Society of Poets. That said, I very much question the inclusion of an award of no notability presented by a body which has been classified as a vanity publisher. Victoriagirl 16:32, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for your message. You'll note that at no point have I suggested that Mr. Huq ever submitted his poems online. What I am suggesting is that any honour or award presented by the International Society of Poets, also known as The International Library of Poetry and the International Poetry Hall of Fame, is of no notability. Do you mean to suggest that notice in the Dhaka Courier is incorrect in recording the International Society of Poets as the body involved? Although I much prefer communication through user and article talk pages, please feel free to contact me by email. Victoriagirl 20:31, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
Photos
editDo you have any photos of Shere-Bangla in your albums, which you can scan and upload under GFDL? The current photo isn't free, so we can't use it for many purposes. --Ragib 23:19, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

Usingha 15:46, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
Please accept my sympathies to you and your family on the loss of your father. I watched his last TV broadcast in "Tritiyo Matra" last week. I'm keeping the article on my watchlist, and will handle any vandalism ASAP. As I suggested, it will be great if you could upload some more photos of Shere Bangla and your father. We'll add those to Bengali Wikipedia too. --Ragib 20:54, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
Duplicate images uploaded
editThanks for uploading Image:RMFaezulHuq1980.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:RMFaezulHuq.jpg. The copy called Image:RMFaezulHuq.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 12:45, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

- Since you know how to, it is futile to lead you to the appropriate guideline. Would you, please, apply that knowledge and sign with four tildes? The Wikipedia requires you to do that. Aditya(talk • contribs) 16:34, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference
editHello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.
On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true
. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false
in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.
For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.
Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 20:18, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
Hello, Minist3r. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Jamil Uddin Ahmad, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:
- edit the page
- remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- save the page
Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Travelbird (talk) 19:02, 1 December 2012 (UTC)

editThe article Kamran Rizvi has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-notable actor, fails WP:GNG and currently WP:NACTOR as the article is unreferenced. A WP:BEFORE search shows up no reliable sources except a passing mention in a periodical, which actually admits that he is better known by his relation to other notable actors (WP:INHERITED).
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Schminnte (talk • contribs) 18:39, 30 June 2023 (UTC)
- Please revisit the page in question "proposed for deletion" as I have provided two (2) references already. Instead of deleting the page, please encourage people to add more verified information on it so that in the future, people interested in the late actor can refer back to Wikipedia for further information. Thanking you in advance.
- However, if you still feel the page is still a good candidate for deletion, then you may do as you please.
- Regards. -MINISTER- 18:21, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
