Hi. nice stubs but please categorize: Look at what I have done to the goalkeeper Orlund of AIK. all categorized. cut and paste it from Orlund article:

Category:Swedish footballers footy-bio-stub sweden-bio-stub Good luck James Janderson 10:46, 20 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Also refer to the football club as AIK Fotboll rather than AIK which is the overall sports club. James Janderson 10:47, 20 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi, can you please categorize articles that you create? Thanks! – Elisson Talk 17:41, 23 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hello, when you want to link to the article about a defender, please do not link to defender, as that is a disambiguation page (which nothing should be linked to). Instead link to the one of the options found on that page such as defender (football) by writing out [[defender (football)|defender]] Regards, -- Jeff3000 21:21, 16 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Removed "squad changes" sections

edit

Hi, I just wanted to tell you that I am very glad that you keep the squads up to date on the Allsvenskan clubs, but I also have to tell you that I have reverted your addition of a squad changes section as Wikipedia is not a news service, this is also something that has been agreed on at the Football WikiProject. Hope to see you do a good job in the future as well! – ElissonTC 18:22, 21 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Avoiding stuff being nominated for speedy deletion

edit

Thanks for creating the Razak Omotoyossi article. However, I noticed that someone had nominated it for speedy deletion. It is quite possible you will lose your work in this way, unless you include the appropriate stub templates (such as {{Sweden-footy-bio-stub}}). Also, preferably add categories and state some source, as is now done at the Omotoyossi article. A web link to a news site would be fine, or even a reference to a match programme if it's in the right format. A little more depth on new articles would help a lot. Regards. --Cedderstk 20:50, 5 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

IFK Göteborg has been nominated for a featured article review. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks. Please leave your comments and help us to return the article to featured quality. If concerns are not addressed during the review period, articles are moved onto the Featured Article Removal Candidates list for a further period, where editors may declare "Keep" or "Remove" the article from featured status. The instructions for the review process are here. Reviewers' concerns are here.

Speedy deletion of Mike Sserumaga

edit

A tag has been placed on Mike Sserumaga requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. uɐɔlnʌɟoʞǝɹɐs 22:15, 18 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Unreferenced BLPs

edit

Hello Marsaskala! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 19 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 289 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Jakob Augustsson - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Proposed deletion of Johan Falkesäter

edit

The article Johan Falkesäter has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Falkesäter has never competed at a professional level. Therefore he does not meet the notability requirements per WP:ATHLETE.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Tooga - BØRK! 18:49, 23 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.
