Hello. As you probably know, Wikipedia values Wikipedia:Verifiability. Thus, I need to call your attention to two mistakes you made in this edit of yours. First is that you removed an important source, and second, that you added unsourced content. I fixed the first problem and moved the source adding content at the article body and moving the source there. However, I dont speak Albanian so it is not easy for me to adequatly source the alleged fact that he joined Kukesi. If you could find a reliable source and than put the content in the article, it would be great. Please ping me if any help you need. Kindest regards, FkpCascais (talk) 21:15, 29 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

In the same, please find an alternative to Transfermarkt. They don't advertise it much, but most of their content is user-generated, making it no more reliable than Wikipedia itself. Please do not cite the website in articles. Sir Sputnik (talk) 15:48, 31 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Dhe shumë prej teksteve janë shkruar me gabime dhe tek lista e flotës ke shkruar se janë aktivë 3 avionë kur ende nuk ka hyrë as i pari në flotë. Everyone find's their Evidence from new's articles this has been many week's on the Albanian news and on the prime ministers Facebook page evidence is evidence then if you have found evidence from the government put it on instead of removing and me and someone else. On fleet iv'e stated proposed fleet do you know English? I'm rushing because other people around the world are interested just like me from America and wanna know more. Use google Translate if you don't understand. Next time if you find evidence from anywhere from the government use it and not waste my time putting i had made a very clear history and fleet section and you take it off unacceptable instead of being what you've sign up for as an editor you can help revise it and edited it we help each other out some of the history section was true no need for reference and why don't you remove Destinations section because it don't have official information. Albwings

edit

Why would you remove the destinations from Albawings. There was a reliable source or reference from their own website. And explain why you took it off with no reasoning. This is an act of disruptive editing. ALBA LUSHNJE (talk) 11:57, 7 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

There was no disruptive editing at any point at all. If you would even bother to try booking any flights to those destinations you will see that there are no flights available. Milan-Malpensa is operated by Blue Panorama and Albawings has a codeshare agreement with them (if you know what that even means), therefore the flights are not operated by Albawings. Treviso and Cuneo are not longer operating MValera (talk) 12:03, 7 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Then would you explain to me where it states that they dont operate anymore in Treviso and Cuneo because on there airport website on the flights section albawings is on there. I would be glad to show you if you want and send a link. Plus the Milan- Tirane flight is a code share flight and many pages in Wikipedia also show their code shares so why cant albawings and others can such as adria airways a big company. ALBA LUSHNJE (talk) 01:37, 8 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Once again i will tell you, because you seem to not understand my words. If you go on the Albawings website, and try to book a flight from Tirana to Cuneo or Treviso, you will see that there are no flights available which means they are no longer operating. Milan-Malpensa, yes you can do a separate codeshares list and put it there, but not on the main destination list. MValera (talk) 14:01, 8 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Now i see what you mean but say which flights in the beginning when you told me first and if you want and me we can make a list for it but the airline doesn't look like it has a great future with many locations being cut off so i don't think its worth it i understand you now thank you very sorry. 2019 Albanian Cup Final moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, 2019 Albanian Cup Final, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Tirana Airport

edit

Hi, could you please stop adding un sourced or improperly sourced routes to the table. The Enter Air flights you're adding have no references and the charters you are adding for Antalya are improperly referenced, the references you give are not sufficient enough to prove they are regular flights and these flights are not shown on the airports official timetable. 86.161.68.95 (talk) 11:23, 18 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Why are you still adding unreferenced routes to the table provide a reference or don't add it, the route to Prague, no reference so don't add it. The route to Riga is not even shown in the reference the route isn't even an option. The flights to Antalya, flight trackers are not reliable references for the table. 86.161.68.95 (talk) 21:08, 22 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

January 2020

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Air Serbia. Jetstreamer Talk 16:17, 3 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Tirana International Airport Nënë Tereza; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Ajf773 (talk) 17:26, 7 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Why are you messing with other people's work? Me and many others have worked to maintain this article for years, and you are starting an edit war out of nowhere? Sources for the routes that you are continously deleting are difficult to find, and we have tried our best to find the most reliable possible sources. While you are at it, why dont you go and delete half of Christchurch Airport and Auckland Airport s routes, since they are not sourced at all? MValera (talk) 18:02, 7 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • My reasons for reverting your work are very clear, your reverts have no edit summary and are disruptive. WP:AIRPORT-CONTENT is specifically clear that future routes and route end dates must be accompanied by a reliable source that clearly shows a firm date. I am merely upholding these standards. You've had enough chances to address this. Ajf773 (talk) 18:53, 7 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Notice of edit warring noticeboard discussion

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. —Ajf773 (talk) 19:03, 7 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

You've been warned per the result of this complaint. See WP:AIRPORT-CONTENT note 11 for the usual sourcing of future airline service. Let me know if you have any questions. I could not find any usable information about Tirana-Hamburg at the link you provided which supposedly verified that future service. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 16:57, 8 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Tirana International Airport Nënë Tereza. As you have been warned already for edit warring and been directed to the relative WikiProject outlying the correct procedure for referencing airport destinations, if you revert again without further discussing I will be going back to the administrators to recommend a block. Ajf773 (talk) 22:54, 9 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

Long term pattern of making unsourced changes

If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

You have continued to make unsourced changes without admitting fault or making any effort to correct the problem. Your last post to the Tirana airport talk page suggests you believe that proper sourcing is impractical. If sourcing can't be found for something, Wikipedia can get along without it! As you know, this problem with your edits was originally reported at WP:AN3 and you were blocked 24 hours in January 2020. It does not appear that you are going to change, so this is the last stop. EdJohnston (talk) 15:02, 10 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

I dont even know what to say anymore, i am beyond dissappointed. I have been one of the biggest contributor of Albanian football and aviation articles and after so many years this what i get? And for what? For simply changing the beggining dates of 3 freaking flights because they are delayed due to Covid? Can easily be proved in the airline's website. I simply dont't believe this. With all due respect, i don't even know who you are but i ask you to remove the block and allow me to continue to give my contribution to Wikipedia. MValera (talk) 15:17, 10 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
If you can easily verify these facts from the airline's web site, can you provide the links to the specific items about these flights? EdJohnston (talk) 16:32, 10 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
First of all you need to understand that we're in the middle of a worldwide pandemic, which means that airlines and airports are continously delaying and suspending their schedules. This is happening on a daily basis. They don't publish available sources for every single date changes they make, that's not how it works. I simply verify by going to the airline's website and check the first date that is available for booking for each specific flight. All im trying to do is keep my home airport's article 100% clean and updated, just as i have been doing for years now. But in special cases like this, it is impossible to find an exact source. I have no malicious intents sir, and you can prove that by my contributions list. I kindly re-ask you to please remove my block. Many Albanian football articles will be left deserted without my edits. MValera (talk) 18:12, 10 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
Your procedure for updating flights does not agree with WP:AIRPORT-CONTENT point #11. You need to come up with a system that the other project members agree is properly sourced. So far, nobody in that project agrees with you. That's why they keep reporting you to admins. EdJohnston (talk) 18:16, 10 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
It was literally one user who started this whole thing but ok, as you say. In the future i will try to source all my edits. Is it possible to remove the block soon, as i have to edit some football matches that were played today? MValera (talk) 19:52, 10 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • You not only need to source your edits using reliable sources but you must make sure the sources provided can be cross-checked with the content in the article. Also undoing an edit without using an edit summary nor trying to resolve first in talk pages is a form of edit warring and what led to your block in the first place. I'm not the only one who has pointed out this behaviour as it seems you have a fairly long term pattern of doing so. Ajf773 (talk) 22:26, 10 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
You say above MValera "It was literally one user who started this whole thing" but I am not sure you appreciate that the one person who has got you blocked is you yourself by ignoring WP:V, not using talk, not using edit summaries and edit warring. If you cannot find sources for your desired edits then do not proceed. I expect competent editors will attend to your favourite articles whilst you are blocked and cause less waste of time for others. Meanwhile if you were ever to have your block lifted, which seems unlikely at present given your lack of insight, consider editing in completely different subject areas.SovalValtos (talk) 12:02, 11 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
And the funniest thing in all of this is that i have never in my editing history made a single false edit. It is ok whether you believe it or not. I can not provide sources for everything i edit, especially because most of the articles that i edit are from Albania where not everything is as accessible in the internet as UK or New Zealand, but of course you dont even think about that. All im trying to do is maintain my airport's article and have updated information, as i know many people who rely on that. There are many other airport articles that have absolutely no sources but for reasons that i don't know my account was specifically targeted. I just don't know what to say anymore. Are you guys happy now that im blocked? Is that what you wanted? Congratulations MValera (talk) 13:09, 11 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
EdJohnston Sir you didn't answer if it is possible to remove my block anytime soon? Simply being blocked because of 2 small date changes, doesnt sound right to me. As an experienced editor, i believe i should get another chance. All my future edits will be properly sourced. Thanks MValera (talk) 13:17, 11 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
I don't favor lifting this block unless we can be assured that your unsourced changes won't continue. Since you have been very persistent about this and seldom join in any discussions I am not optimistic about the future. In your response above, you firmly defend your past behavior and appear to see no problem with your edits. EdJohnston (talk) 15:57, 11 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
I promise it will not happen again. If it does, feel free to permanently block me for the final time. I just ask for a second chance MValera (talk) 16:33, 11 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
In case you did not notice it or ignored it MValera you have already had a second chance . You were blocked in January.SovalValtos (talk) 19:31, 11 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
I'm sorry what is your problem? I have no idea who you are. Do you have anything against me personally? Please let me resolve this and then we can talk, if you really want to take this personal. MValera (talk) 21:40, 11 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • I am in favour of giving MValera the benefit of the doubt. Besides the behaviour on the airport articles they appear to genuinely be here to build an encyclopedia and so long as they act in good faith to other users, then there may not be any problem going forward. I'm sure that after two strikes they know what the third strike will result in. Ajf773 (talk) 22:32, 11 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
Well thank you for actually trying to understand me for once, i appreciate it. As i have said many times before, Tirana is my home airport and im just trying to keep it as updated as possible. Never had any bad intentions. Unfortunately, it's not so easy to find proper sources here as you may think, which is the reason that brought me into this situation. I have learned the lesson and will adhere to WP:AIRPORT-CONTENT rules from now on. Thanks! MValera (talk) 23:50, 11 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
You have expressed good intentions, but what sort of editing can we expect from you in the future regarding the Tirana airport? You understand that without good sources, you won't be able to make changes? Such as the ones you made in the past? EdJohnston (talk) 00:55, 12 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
If i don't find any good sources, then i won't edit. EdJohnston Thanks for taking this in consideration MValera (talk) 09:36, 12 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
OK, I have unblocked your account with the summary: "User will follow Wikipedia's sourcing policy, and the usual practices for airport articles.." EdJohnston (talk) 01:00, 14 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
I appreciate it, thank you MValera (talk) 09:37, 14 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
What about this new edit you just made of our Tirana Airport article? Do you have sources for these dates? EdJohnston (talk) 17:37, 14 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Listing of oprated by & providing reliable sources

edit

@Mariiovalera: Let me explain how things work. As per WP:AirportContent we do not list operated by. I already advised you to read that Content so you clearly understand what is allowed and what is not for such a case as per your edits on Tirana. Even if airline is virtual or standard we list airline which owe the flight and sell it not airline which just operate as lease aircraft provider. To make it more clear if you list as Heli Air Services and you want to book a flight there is no single thing/evidence about those flights on their website therefore you cant back up your edits with proper source that flights actually EXIST. In that case you list main airline which is LitorAli Airlines which provides prove of existence. To give you an example: Ryanair use lease providers as Buzz, Malta Air or Laudamotion we do not list none of them as all is listed under the Ryanair and this is same case about LitorAli Airlines. On other note for all new addition with start date you must provide valid source that you prove what you saying it's true. You cant add start dates and not providing source. You been already blocked for such a edits in the past few times but looks like you haven't learn anything. I hope explanation above makes all easy and understandable for you and I wont have to report you as you already broke three revert rule. If you revert one more time after this message you will prove you are not co-operating along with rules and you are vandal. I will be forced to report you for vandalism and not following Wikipedia guidelines. Thank you and have a nice day/evening Wappy2008 (talk) 22:20, 27 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

  • You do not need to explain me how these things work, i know very well and i have read the content multiple times. Can you please show me in which part of the rules it is stated that we can now list virtual airlines? Ryanair comparison is completely incorrect by the way, no need to make empty threats MValera (talk) 10:01, 27 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Mariiovalera: Ryanair was just example of not listing operated by. We list virtual airlines since the day it stopped be listed operated by. As you can list airline which owe and sell the flight not company which just leasing aircraft (does not sell actual flights). Just few more examples: flyBair[1] its virtual airline in Switzerland operating out of Bern airport using different companies to operate their flights. We list it under flyBAIR as you can check yourself. Another case is Sun d'Or virtual airline of EL Al it lost their licence back in 2011 but its still used as virtual carrier using aircraft of El Al however it is listed under Sun d'Or. This is exactly the case of Heli Air which only provides/lease aircraft but do not owe the flights. Main airline here is Litorali Airlines Wappy2008 (talk) 03:42, 28 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

2021–22 Kategoria e Dytë moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, 2021–22 Kategoria e Dytë, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ... discospinster talk 01:44, 8 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
