AIM-174
editThank you for the support regarding re-naming AIM-174B to "AIM-174." I managed to get the discussion re-opened after a "no consensus" closure, so that is a good step, but I suppose we'll see. Seems like an obvious measure to me, but we must remember this is Wikipedia, lol. cheers MWFwiki (talk) 21:02, 4 October 2024 (UTC)

Quick question (B-52 edit..)
editThat edit you partially RV'ed on B-52 - did it come up for you as "username or IP removed"? It does for me - and I have never seen that before. Wasn't aware WP allowed something like that. --Picard's Facepalm • Made It So Engage! • 21:35, 31 October 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, the user name/IP name is struck or hidden now. I think it was listed as "Username or IP removed" but not with line through it (for being blocked) then as it is now. -Fnlayson (talk) 21:46, 31 October 2024 (UTC)
- @Picard's Facepalm: removing a username or IP is one of the options when conducting a revdelete to remove a specific edit. It's really rare to see it done to a username (typically only happens in cases of gross abuse), and tbh I'm not actually sure how to view the original username to confirm (it's not the same process as viewing a revdeleted edit). But definitely something that WP supports, just an infrequent action. ⇒SWATJester Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 23:35, 31 October 2024 (UTC)
- LOL nevermind I'm an idiot -- it's got double black lines crossing it out, that means it was oversighted ("suppression" we call it now), not revdeleted.⇒SWATJester Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 23:37, 31 October 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks, I know just a little about this stuff. I'm a normal user with some sub-admin privileges (rollback, new page review, ...). -Fnlayson (talk) 01:09, 1 November 2024 (UTC)
- Cool - thank you both! --Picard's Facepalm • Made It So Engage! • 14:17, 1 November 2024 (UTC)

Statement Regarding McDonnell Douglas
editSorry for bothering you. I noticed you removed my edit to the McDonnell Douglas page. Please do not remove Charles Michael Niemann from Key People. He was the founder of The Stress Management and Work Efficiency Programs in McDonnell Douglas. He was the VP of The Processing Department. He was a company representative to NASA in the 70's. And lastly, he was McDonnell Douglas' loaned executive. I didn't have any cites for him because I couldn't figure out how to put them on there. If you would like my evidence, feel free to ask. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Oakleaf Leaf (talk • contribs) 14:25, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- You did NOT provide any citation(s) per WP:Verifiability. Please use article talk pages for article related issues like this so others will see and help, etc. -Fnlayson (talk) 14:29, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, I know I didn't, as I said I didn't have any cites for him because I couldn't figure out how to put them on there. If you would like my evidence, feel free to ask. Oakleaf Leaf (talk) 15:09, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- Could I provide the sources in the talk Page and you put them on? I just don't know how to cite on here. Oakleaf Leaf (talk) 15:10, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry for messaging you again, but is there enough information on it now for the name to stay? If not, I still have a couple more books, letters, and articles. OakLeaf7888 (talk) 22:51, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- Looks like it, yes. You provided reference(s) as requested. Please use article talk pages for such discussions going forward. Discussing things is what talk pages are for (appropriately). Regards -Fnlayson (talk) 23:00, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
