- The domain name getpaint.net has been the official web site to get the application for well over a decade. It looks ridiculous but it is their way they make money from this freeware. The domain name paint.net was registered by somebody else nearly a decade before Paint.NET was first released. Stefán Örvar Sigmundsson (talk) 19:04, 19 October 2024 (UTC)
