Budget-vs.-B.O. no longer a success indicator
editThis issue obviously transcends this particular movie, but:
Before streaming services caught up with and surpassed theatrical exhibition, there was more meaning in listing a film's budget and box-office take in the infobox. Now, though, readers may see this:
- Budget $18 million
- Box office $10.5 million
...and not realize this film was also "...the third-most watched straight-to-streaming title of 2020".
Is there way we can update the infobox format to include streaming revenue, to provide a clearer picture of a film's overall success? Otherwise it can just be misleading. – AndyFielding (talk) 09:33, 25 April 2022 (UTC)
