Which is the real FOLIO magazine
editThe magazine with the FolioMag.com URL preceded american.edu/cas/literature/folio, the "other" one. The New York Times has been covering the FolioMag.com (trade) magazine for decades. A convenience google showed May 2020. A NYTimes reference to "by Folio magazine" means FolioMag.
Within various Wikipedia articles, references to Folio is to the trade magazine: a magazine about magazines.
There are three reasonable solutions:
- Make Folio (magazine) a disambiguation page:
- Folio (literary magazine)
- Folio (trade magazine)
- Wiki policy dones't encourage two-way disambiguation pages. The recommended way is via hatnotes atop each to wikilink to the other.
- Move Folio (magazine) to Folio (literary magazine, American Universty)
or something of that nature
- Since it only has 2 refs, and six sentences,
merge into American_University.
Left standing as Folio (magazine) is the longstanding magazine that is the intended reference of other wikipedia articles. Pi314m (talk) 22:51, 26 July 2020 (UTC)
