I completed my Bachelor's in Computer Science from DAVV, Indore, India in 2000, a graduate diploma in computer science & application from DAVV, Indore, India in 2002, a master's in Information Technology from Guru Ghasidas University Bilaspur(C.G.), India in 2005 and Ph.D. (CSA) from AISECT University, Bhopal, India 2016. Nowadays, COVID-19 is considered to be the biggest disaster that the world is facing. It has created a lot of destruction in the whole world. Due to this COVID-19, analysis has been done to predict the death rate and infected rate from the total population. To perform the analysis on COVID-19, regression analysis has been implemented by applying the differential equation and ordinary differential equation (ODE) on the parameters. The parameters taken for analysis are the number of susceptible individuals, the number of Infected Individuals, and the number of Recovered Individuals. This work will predict the total cases, death cases, and infected cases in the near future based on different reproductive rate values. This work has shown the comparison based on 4 different productive rates i.e. 2.45, 2.55, 2.65, and 2.75. Currently, various websites display the searched product when a visitor comes to their website. What we need is a system, which can recommend the products which are like the searched products. This will help the consumer to find out another product in case the item is unavailable, or the searched product is not good enough, or when they would like to look through different similar products. A good recommendation system has been found out to be financially beneficial for the companies also. It is found out that consumer is 35% more likely to buy a product if the recommendation is good enough for consumers. Purpose The purpose of this paper is to focus on the prediction of Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) using X-ray image. Design/methodology/approach This study proposed convolutional neural network (CNN) approach to predict COVID-19. Findings Prediction of COVID-19 using CNN. Originality/value The work has implemented multiple CNN models to classify chest X-ray of affected patients by using their chest scans. Environmental protection is a concept that uses information and communication technology(ICT) for enhancing people’s daily lives. Human fall detection is an effective environmental support sub-area. One of the critical issues in elderly people is the fall detection. In this work, we have proposed the fall detection algorithms using machine learning which later uses a fog computing approach to send information to the caregiver in real-time. One class method based on a support vector machine is used to build fall detection and a Smartphone accelerometer is used for the data collection. We have considered five features from the Smartphone accelerometer for the building of the fall detection model. Fog computing approach is used to intimate the caregiver about the fall in real-time through the cloud connection even in the absence of fog node.
