The aim of this work is to build an Algebraic Quantum Field Theory for free Fermionic Particles in Minkowski spacetime, since the one for Bosonic Particles has been developed in many papers and books. The obtained results will be also used to develop theories in different spacetimes with different symmetries.

The idea of categorification is to replace "simpler" objects with "more complicated" ones. The aim is to get some new information in terms of some extra structure of the complicated objects. In particular, it can be used in representation theory of associative algebras to have a bigger picture of what is happening. The categorification of algebras over a field k bring to the representation theory of 2-categories (called 2-representation theory).
