How the Program Works
At Down East magazine, we work year-round to showcase Maine’s people, businesses, landscapes, and traditions. Our Merchant Program offers wholesale prices to businesses that want to stock issues of Down East — whether that is just six copies a month, or hundreds! The issues can be resold, and are a great fit for point of sale or as part of a locally themed display.
Magazines can also be given complimentary to salon clients reading under hair dryers, auto shop customers waiting for their vehicles, and patients passing time before doctor appointments. Down East is a great fit for visitors from away, whether as an introduction to the state, to welcome them to their accommodations, or as a primer for those touring homes in hopes of making a purchase. If you love all of Maine’s character and complexities as much as we do, we hope you will consider sharing our magazine with your customers.

Pricing
You don’t have to purchase every month when you sign up for a year, but for each month ordered, the minimum is 6 copies. These prices are for a year’s worth of orders:

Cancellation Policy
Due to our printer’s schedule, we need 2 month’s advance notice to cancel orders. All shipped orders will be invoiced, and by completing the order form, you are agreeing to pay for those issues. If you cancel and return copies, we will void the invoice. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your order.
