Abstract

Multi-server environments-based telecare medicine information systems (TMIS) using the smart card are widely used. Recently, Barman et al. proposed an authentication protocol in e-Healthcare for a multi-server environment. This paper demonstrates that their protocol is not secure against known session specific temporary information attack, leakage of the session key, and man-in-the-middle attack.
