I have a whole rant about why i hate robert smirke and said rant includes how he is intrinsically bound to the founding of the magnus institute. However, in tmagp, while the institute does exist, its in manchester. This implies that Robert Smirke still existed as a supetnatural figure in tmagp, yet he never reached the same level of significance he did in tma aka probs didnt help design the watchers crown or create the lukas family as we know it. That means that "smirkes 14" was never created as a categorization for the fears, which may be the reason behind the lack of structure we are seeing in tmagp

Fun fact: In Episode 33, you can hear Alice and Gwen having a muffled argument in the background at the start. During recording, @anouchard and I were given carte blanche to improvise a few takes of a prolonged spat and it was the funniest thing ever.

I even improvised a line about a made up external that was basically a Henry Hoover on legs.
