Lori has served the State of Georgia since 2006, including with the Department of Community Supervision since its inception in 2015. Prior to her career with DCS, she served in various capacities with the State Board of Pardons and Paroles.

With a wealth of experience in program development and training, Lori has notable accomplishments, including the Innovations Award and Sworn Employee of the Year. Her work has focused on strengthening both internal and external programs, ensuring the Department’s goals align with public safety priorities and community needs.

Lori is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Georgia Professional Association of Community Supervision (GPACS), the American Probation and Parole Association (APPA), and the Association of Women Executives in Corrections (AWEC). She has also served as an advisory board member for Axon Corrections and Crisis Intervention Training.

Lori holds a Master’s in Public Safety Administration from Columbus State University and is a graduate of the Georgia Law Enforcement Command College. She is a Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council (P.O.S.T.) Certified Master Instructor, with advanced instructor certifications in multiple areas, including the use of force, firearms, and crisis intervention. She is also a Master Taser Instructor for Axon and holds a National Instructor Certification for Mental Health First Aid.
