The electric sector is fundamental for the economic and social development of society, impacting ... more The electric sector is fundamental for the economic and social development of society, impacting on essential aspects such as health, education, employment generation, industrial production, and the provision of various services. In addition to the above, the growing trend in energy consumption worldwide could increase, according to expert estimates, up to 40% by 2030, which in turn increases the efforts of the public and private sector to meet increasing demands and increase access to energy services under requirements of reliability and quality. However, the electricity sector presents challenges and complexities, one of which is the reduction of health and safety risks for workers, service users, and other stakeholders. In many countries, this sector is classified as high risk in occupational safety and health, due to its complexity and the impact of accidents and occupational diseases on the health of workers, in infrastructure, in operating costs and competitiveness of the energy sector. Worldwide, there are rigorous regulations for the electricity sector, from local and national government regulations to international standards to guarantee health and safety conditions. However, it is necessary to develop objective and comprehensive methodologies for evaluating occupational safety and health performance that provides solutions for the electricity sector, not only to comply with standards and regulations also as a continuous improvement tool that supports the decision-making processes given the complexity of the industry and the multiple criteria that are taken into account when evaluating and establishing improvement strategies. In scientific literature, different studies focus on the analysis of accident statistics, the factors that affect accidents and occupational diseases, and the risk assessment of the sector. Despite these considerations, studies that focus directly on the development of hybrid methodologies for the evaluation and improvement of performance in occupational safety and health in the electrical sector, under multiple criteria and uncertainty are mostly limited. Therefore, this document presents an integrated methodology for improving the performance in occupational health and safety in the electric sector through the application of two techniques of Multi-criteria Decision Methods (MCDM) uses in environments under uncertainly. First, the fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) is applied to estimate the initial relative weights of criteria and sub-criteria. The fuzzy set theory is incorporated to represent the uncertainty of decision-makers’ preferences. Then, the Decision-making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) used for evaluating the interrelations and feedback among criteria and sub-criteria. FAHP and DEMATEL are later combined for calculating the final criteria and sub-criteria weights under vagueness and interdependence. Subsequently, we applied the proposed methodology in a company of the energy sector for diagnosis of performance in OHS to establish improvement proposals, the work path, and implementation costs. Finally, we evaluate the impact of the strategies applied in the improvement of the performance of the company.

Este artículo propone la conformación de una red de cooperación para la gestión de prácticas prof... more Este artículo propone la conformación de una red de cooperación para la gestión de prácticas profesionales universitarias en el contexto relacional universidad-gobierno-empresa. Se fundamenta en un enfoque racionalista y la aplicación de métodos de razonamiento lógico inferencial a través de las técnicas de análisis de fuentes documentales, deducción y abducción, desde los aportes de las teorías de la cooperación, redes y currículo. La población la conforman actores clave de los sectores involucrados ubicados en la Península de Paraguaná, estado Falcón, Venezuela. Se les aplicó un cuestionario cuyos resultados evidencian disposición a formar parte de la red y a cumplir acuerdos y objetivos propuestos. Hay existencia de actores con tipologías destacables los cuales representan una fuente importante de información. Como conclusión se valida que los flujos relacionales entre sectores propician la creación de redes formales de cooperación fortalecidas desde los aportes de cada nodo de la red.

En este artículo de investigación se analiza el desempeño académico en tecnología e informática de estudiantes wayuu del grado 11o ante la prevalencia del COVID-19. La investigación se fundamenta en un enfoque racionalista y un paradigma mixto de naturaleza cuali cuantitativa que integra un diseño con componentes teóricos y empíricos, desde el análisis y la encuesta a estudiantes y docentes en una institución de La Guajira colombiana. Los estudiantes mantienen su desempeño luego de un proceso de adaptación tecnológica, con contribución familiar y acompañamiento docente.

From this referent, the design and validation of intersectoral cooperation networks is considered pertinent for the effective management of professional practices. Therefore, this article is oriented towards the construction of the ideal scenario where a universitygovernmentcompany intersectoral cooperation network can operate on a horizon of 2030. Foresight is used as a research and planning method, in conjunction with the consultation of experts from different social sectors that lead to obtaining sixteen scenarios of probable occurrence. For this, techniques, such as the prospective workshop, Delphi method, structural analysis (MICMAC) and scenario analysis (SMIC), are used. The first phase consists on developing a theoretical system that is followed by a descriptive field phase in which a questionnaire was applied to a sample of ten faculty coordinators. The results show that there is a significant presence of: community development products, social reality articulation, surroundings transformation, and theoretical-practical articulation. El diseño implica la aplicación y validación de las etapas de ciclo de mejora continua (the “plan-do-check-act”, PDCA), donde se inserta el mapeo de conocimiento como estrategia para fortalecer el pensamiento de base interdisciplinar en estudiantes de ingeniería eléctrica con el tema generador: sistema de potencias. Los resultados evidencian que la enseñanza integrada de estas disciplinas, desde un enfoque constructivista, puede fortalecerse con los mapas de conocimiento de naturaleza conceptual, contribuyendo al mejoramiento del desempeño académico y calidad del proceso. Esta investigación reúne los aportes basados en la teoría de acción interpretativa sobre los hall... more Esta investigación reúne los aportes basados en la teoría de acción interpretativa sobre los hallazgos de un estudio etnográfico hecho en la gestión instruccional de un programa de formación universitaria. Usó un riguroso proceso lógico-metódico con variadas formas de captación de datos y profundo análisis informativo con hetero-triangulación, para luego presentar un mapa ilustrativo del hecho educativo. Se desarrolló para la búsqueda de una explicación fenomenológica del sentido y modos de vida de los actores sociales, cuya intención fue la de redescubrir sus significancias más resaltantes, en una vuelta a sus momentos escénicos. Se siguió un método sociológico de vida cotidiana asentado en postulados de Alfred Schütz y Harold Garfinkel. Entre las implicaciones derivadas, se cita la trascendencia del esquema en red que influencia los procesos de gestión currículo-instruccional, a la vez de propiciar cambios conductuales socioeducativos.
