De-adminship warning
[edit]Dear MECU. I am writing to you to inform you that you are in danger of losing your adminship on Commons because of inactivity.
If you want to keep your adminship, you need both to sign at Commons:Administrators/Inactivity section within 30 days of today's date, and also to make at least five further admin actions in the following six months. Anyone who does not do so will automatically lose administrator rights.
You can read the de-admin policy at Commons:Administrators/De-adminship.
Thank you Huib talk Abigor @ meta 08:08, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
Sysop tools removed
[edit]I am writing to let you know that as you did not signed at Commons:Administrators/Inactivity section/Aug-Sep 2010 within the permitted 30 day period your admin rights have been removed for inactivity, as required by our policy. We very much appreciate the work you have done here, and hope you will feel free to re-apply for admin rights if at some time in the future you feel able to contribute again. -- 15 September 2010 (UTC)

Google Search
[edit]Hello, I uploade a Print Screen facsimile of a Google Search result in order to illustrate a discussion and a notice about vandalism. The image was deletade. I thought it was deleted because I had mistakenly uploaded the same file twice. Then I noticed the image dissapeared and came here, and found out it was also deleted at Commons. When I tried to upload it, there was a message saying a file with the same content had been deleted. The file´s name was AY_Google_wikipedia.jpg Could you please help me? How can I upload the file again? It is important for the discussion. Thank you. -- Tat Sat (talk) 19:38, 16 July 2012 (UTC)
- PS I have already solved this problem insenting a link to the page. Thank you anyway. Tat Sat (talk) 21:49, 16 July 2012 (UTC)

File:Redbandfish.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.) Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
