Duplicate objects

[edit]

¿What are "duplicate objects"? easy, ¿can you see the file size increment every time you and John Q Poppy edit it? it's because you don't color the objects (what are the counties) as such, but rather use the fill tool of delimited areas, which duplicates the objects, leaving a gray object under the "colored" ones. On the other hand, I did not remove anything, I used the latest version of John Q Poppy to make the changes. The problem is that I see that you two use the version that you keep on your respective computers to add counties, instead of downloading the commons one, and for that reason it seems that they are erased in every version.- --Milenioscuro (talk) 18:39, 26 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

COVID-19 US map

[edit]

There is a case in Guayama, the one Puerto Rico senatorial district which currently shows no cases on the map [1]. Sladnick (talk) 16:09, 6 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the acknowledgment, got a couple more: 1) Falls Church, Virginia [2]; 2) Colonial Heights, Virginia [3]. Also, less important, two places where the map is a bit screwed up: 1) at the southern end of the Alaska panhandle: a) two parts of Prince of Wales–Hyder Census Area are colored in when they should not be (if consulting a map note this county-equivalent's borders changed only a few years ago), the largest of the three small colored islands at the bottom of the state, and the little diamond-shaped pocket at the inland south-east corner; b) one part of Ketchikan Gateway Borough is not colored in but should be, the southernmost bit of the mainland that is not currently colored, half of a peninsula; 2) Wisconsin's Apostle Islands in Lake Superior, directly north of Ashland County of which they are part. Sladnick (talk) 02:46, 8 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I mentioned above that the borders of these county-equivalents in southern Alaska changed only recently (in 2013). In your latest update there is again a mistake: you colored in Hyder, which is part of Prince of Wales–Hyder Census Area. I will update the map for this. Sladnick (talk) 23:39, 11 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry I just updated again because now Annette Island was colored in (this is part of Prince of Wales–Hyder). Thanks for all the work you are doing on the map, which far outweighs these little details. Sladnick (talk) 13:46, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

3 cases in Union County NM, right next to Oklahoma Panhandle. — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 2601:18D:87F:9E00:6C24:F7A3:FB0D:67E2 (talk) 22:11, 27 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
