Michael Zeller
Michael C. Zeller is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Political Science at Central European University (CEU). His dissertation research concerns the demobilisation of far-right demonstration campaigns, particularly the role of counter-mobilisation against the far right. He is also, since 2020, the head of the Centre for the Analysis of the Radical Right (CARR) Organisation Research Unit.
From 2019 to 2021, he was an Associate Researcher at the CEU Centre for Policy Studies, working on the EU-H2020 ‘Building Resilience against Violent Extremism and Polarisation’ (BRaVE) project.
Michael holds master's degrees with distinction in Eurasian Studies and Political Science from the University of Glasgow and Corvinus University of Budapest, respectively. He earned a B.A. summa cum laude from the University of Louisville, where he studied political science, history, and Russian studies.
