Résumé
On 3 May 2024, a Long March 5 rocket lifted off from Hainan, China, carrying the Chang'E 6 probe to the Moon. This mission aims to collect, for the first time, lunar samples from the far side of the Moon. On board are international instruments, including DORN (Detection of Outgassing RadoN), an alpha particle spectrometer to measure the radioactive noble gas Radon. What secrets does the Moon hide that we have not yet discovered? These unmanned missions are the first steps towards human exploration of space, and beyond the frontiers of our planetary system lies one of the frontiers of science. In this oral presentation, I show the main aspects of the chinese lunar exploration program, the scientific questions regarding the moon and its far side and a summary of my participation in the Chang'E 6 mission.
