CKM
Mišićna kreatin-kinaza, znana i kao MCK je kreatin-kinaza koju kod čovjekakodira gen MCK.[5]
Struktura
[uredi | uredi izvor]Na slici desno prikazana je kristalna struktura mišićnog tipa M-CK monomera. In vivo, dva takva monomera simetrično se raspoređuju kako bi stvorili aktivni enzim MM-CK.
Funkcija
[uredi | uredi izvor]Protein kojeg kodira ovaj gen je citoplazmatski enzim uključen u homeostazu ćelijske energije. Kodirani protein reverzibilno katalizuje prenos "energetski bogatog" fosfat a između ATP i kreatina i između fosfo-kreatina i ADP-a. Njegova funkcionalna cjelina je MM-CK homodimer u prugastim (sarkomera ma) skeletnim i srčanim mišićima.
Klinički značaj
[uredi | uredi izvor]U srcu je, pored MM-CK homodimera, izražen i heterodimer MB-CK, koji se sastoji od jednog mišićnog (M-CK) i jedne podjedinice moždane kreatin-kinaze (B-CK). Potonji može biti važan serumski marker za infarkt miokarda, ako se oslobodi iz oštećenih ćelija miokarda u krv, gdje ga može otkriti kliničkohemijska preteaga.
