Citokinoliki protein 1 (CYTL1) jest protein koji je kod ljudi kodiran genom CYTL1 sa hromosoma 4.[5]

Funkcija
C17 je protein sličan citokinu koji je specifično eksprimiran u koštanoj srži i krvi pupčane vrpce, monojedarni ćelijama koje nose površinski marker CD34.[7] Funkcionalno , C17 je identificiran kao sekretorni protein eksprimiran u CD34 i hemopoetskim ćelijama.[7] CYTL1 regulira hondrogenezu i potreban je za održavanje homeostaze hrskavice i može, dodatno, djelovati kao regulatorni faktor u implantaciji embriona u fazi rane trudnoće.[8]
Proteini ove porodice, C17, nalazi se u kičmenjacima. Proteini imaju dva konzervirana motiva sekvence: PPTCYSR i DDC.
