Adilson de Jesus Martins da Silva is the Director of the Department of Demographic and Social Statistics at the National Institute of Statistics of Cape Verde under a mobility regime, since 2022.
Holding a PhD. in Applied Mathematics (with specialization In Statistics and Risk Management) since 2017, he holds the position of Assistant Professor at Universidade de Cabo Verde. His research is focused on Statistical Mixed Linear Models with or without Orthohonal Block Structure, in particular in models with crossed or nested random effects.
