Open Positions:

Sales Manager

The ideal candidate will work full time Monday- Friday 10am-5pm. This role is in-person at our Los Angeles showroom location. 

 

What you'll do at Berlinger:

  • Connect with clients one-on-one for in-person appointments in our showroom.
  • Drive sales in person by providing exceptional customer service and demonstrating knowledge of our pieces. Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions by providing expert advice and personalized recommendations. 
  • Meet and exceed personal and company monthly sales and CRM goals. Establish KPI’s and metrics. 
  • Maintain customer communication through email and cross-communication with the broader sales and marketing team.
  • Product Knowledge & Jewelry Education:  Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in fine jewelry and possess a thorough understanding of the features and benefits of our products. You’ll be able ot provide our customers with a thorough education about jewelry, metals, diamonds and gemstones, and the process of purchasing an engagement ring. 
  • Provide after-sales support and follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction by communicating with customers via email and phone.
  • Set up and merchandise showroom displays at open and breakdown displays at closing. Manage all security checkpoints for store close and open
  • Ensure the showroom is impeccably presented, including maintaining the cleanliness and organization of display cases.
  • Plan and coordinate pop-up events in various locations, including finding locations, organizing logistics, and arranging travel for yourself and our designer.
  • Customer Service: Assist any inbound phone or email inquiries to our primary email channel for assistance with repairs, resizing, exchange, or manufacturing defects. 
  • Coordinate with the production team and shipping team to ensure timely repair/resize/replacement of jewelry for any repairs. 
  • Monthly sales reporting and analyzing data insights

 Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience in jewelry (required). This is extremely important, we will only consider candidates with prior jewelry sales experience. 

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills via. Phone, email, and in-person with clients. 

  • Strong sense of initiative, self-motivation and goal-oriented.

  • Great attention to detail, and highly organized

  • Must be able to work select Saturdays/Sundays (only for pop up events) and flexibility on holidays.

  • Must be located, or able to relocate to Los Angeles and work in person.

  • Innovative thinker with a passion for styling and has a fresh outlook on trends

  • Passion and love for jewelry and the jewelry industry is a MUST
