écosystèmes différents où domine l’aquaculture en tant qu’activité économique. Dans le
lac Mellah, la conchyliculture constitue la seule forme d’activité aquacole (grossissement
de Crassostrea gigas et Mytilus galloprovincialis). La collecte de palourdes (Venerupis
dessucatus) et la pêche des principales espèces de poissons Dicentrarchus labrax, Sparus
aurata, Diplodus spp., Mugil spp., Solea spp., Anguilla anguilla, sont artisanales (engins
de pêche : bordigue, filet trémail ou nasses). Au niveau du lac Oubeira on retrouve une
pisciculture extensive effectuée à travers deux opérations de repeuplement (1985 et 1991)
avec les cyprinidés Hypophthalmichthys molitrix, Aristichthys nobilis, Ctenopharyngodon
idella, Cyprinus carpio, Carassius carrasius, Carassius gibelio et Stizostedion lucioperca.
L’investigation de la parasitofaune des poissons dans ces deux systèmes a permis la
découverte de diverses entités :
1. Lac Mellah
Myxobolus sp, Diplectanum aequans, Microcotyle sp., Acanthostomum imbutiforme,
Caligus minutus, et Ergasilus lizae chez Dicentrarchus punctatus ; Microcotyle chrisophrii
chez Sparus aurata ; Dactylogyrus sp., Bothriocephalus claviceps, Bucephalopsis sp.,
Deropristis inflata et Anguillicola crassus chez Anguilla anguilla ; et Nerocila orbignyi
chez les Mugilidés.
2. Lac Oubeira
Myxobolus exiguus, et Neoechinorhynchus agilis chez les Mugilidés ; Myxobolus sp.,
Myxidium giardi, Ichthyophthirius multifiliis, Trichodina sp., Dactylogyrus sp.,
Gyrodactylus sp., Khawia armeniaca, Bothriocephalus acheilognathi, Ligula intestinalis,
Acanthogyrus (Acanthosentis) maroccanus, , Lernaea cyprinacea, Ergasilus lizae,
Ergasilus sp., Argulus foliaceus, et Glochidies de Margaritana margaritifera chez les
Cyprinidés ; et Myxidium giardi, Ichthyophthirius multifiliis, Trichodina
anguillae, Pseudodactylogyrus anguillae, Bothriocephalus claviceps, Anguillicola crassus,
Glochidies de Margaritana margaritifera chez Anguilla anguilla.
