Migraine headache is a type of headache, which may have both organic and psychological causes. Even if it does not have a psychological origin, psychological factors like stress, anxiety and frustration have a tendency to aggravate the condition many a times. Thus the psychologists and the medical practitioners both have a role to play in the management and the treatment of the migraine headaches. This paper is a case study of hypnotherapy, more specifically hypnoplasty with an adolescent girl who came with a problem of migraine headaches. She was given two sessions of hypnoplasty and one of age-regression with therapeutic –interview and one of positive suggestions. After these four sessions, two follow-up sessions, first after a time-period of fourteen days (two weeks) and second after a fifteen days gap were also conducted, during which she reported a remarkable decrease in the frequency and intensity of the migraine headaches. The term adjustment refers to the degree to which an individual’s personality functions effectively in the world of people. Personality refers to the unique and relatively stable qualities that characterize a person’s responses to life situations over a period of time. The aim of the current study was to explore the relationship among grit, hope and subjective vitality in young adults. It also investigated the gender difference in the aforementioned variables. For this purpose a sample of 120 young adults, 60 males and 60 females, pursuing graduate and post graduate programmes residing in Delhi NCR was taken. Item Grit Scale, Adult Hope Scale and Subjective Vitality Scale were used. In order to find the relationship between the study variables, Pearson correlation was run. To find out the gender difference for the variables under study, t-test was applied. The results indicated a significant relationship between hope and subjective vitality. Non-significant differences between male and female young adults on grit, hope and subjective vitality were obtained.

Introduction: Acid attack is a heinous crime, where the victims face lifelong trauma, with disfigurement of face and other body parts. This study focused on studying the different ways through which acid attack survivors dealt with their circumstances by understanding their levels of resilience, life satisfaction and happiness.Method: Homogenous purposive sampling was used for the study. 30 survivors answered for the quantitative analysis of the three components, followed by interview of 10 of them who agreed to be part of the semi-structured interview.Results: In the quantitative analysis, it was found that there was a significant correlation between happiness and resilience. In the interview, four major themes emerged. The first theme was the ability to adapt, with sub-themes of personal belief system, adaptive memories of the past, belief in the just world and social support received from their family and friends. Background: Many studies have been carried out in the past that discovered a link between different types of mental health conditions and help-seeking attitudes, but the link between entrapment and attitude towards seeking mental health services remains unknown. Objective: The study is pilot research that aims to fill the research gap by investigating the existence of association between feelings of entrapment and young adults' attitudes toward accessing mental health care. Method: A random sample of young individuals (n=90) in the age range of 18-30 years living in the Delhi NCR area of India were invited to complete the questionnaires to determine their level of entrapment and attitude towards seeking mental health care.
