GIF TUTORIAL: (EXPANDING THE TOP OF THE GIF)

someone asked me to make a gif tutorial to show you how to expand a gif in an animated movie. so here it goes.

1: make your gif, tutorial here. after finishing you gif, sharpening it don’t add the coloring yet make a new layer above all the layers.
2: now we need to expand our gif from the top. image>canvas size. like this.
3: now we need to select a foreground color to brush over the empty layer in the empty part of the gif so we just click on the foreground color and select the most common color in the top of our gif and using a soft round brush we brush over. like this.
4: now add the coloring, after adding the coloring you will find the layer has blended more with the gif and everything looks all blended and nice.
