- أناجيل دورهام (بالإنجليزية: Durham Gospels) هي عمل غير مكتمل يعود إلى أواخر القرن السابع وهي عبارة عن مكتوبة ومرسومة بأسلوب الفن الجزيري، محفوظة الآن في مكتبة (MS A.II.17). ورقة مطوية واحدة من هذه المخطوطة هي الآن في (Pepysian MS 2981). اثنان فقط من الصفحات المزينة بالكامل استطاعت النجاة والبقاء: (Crucifixion) أو صورة حكم الصلب على المسيح وهي (الأقدم في الفن الإنجليزي) وافتتاحية إنجيل يوحنا، وكلتا الصفحتين في حالة سيئة جدا.من المفترض أنه كانت هناك بعض الصفحات المحتوية على صور المبشرين وبعض صفحات السجاد كما وجدت في كتب الإنجيل الأخرى المصورة بالأسلوب الجزيري على نطاق مماثل. تم إنتاج الكتاب في ليندسفارن وتم تقديمه إلى عندما تم أجلاء الرهبان في ليندسفارن إلى بسبب هجمات الفايكنغ. تم كتابة أناجيل درم من قبل نفس الكاتب الذي كتب . أجزاء الكتاب المقدس (مكتبة كاتدرائية درم) (MS A.II.10) هي مخطوطة أخرى في مكتبة والتي يشار إليها أحيانا باسم «أناجيل درم»، ولكن في معظم الأحيان يشار إليها باسم «أجزاء الكتاب المقدس في مكتبة درم». - Das Durham-Evangeliar ist eine illuminierte Handschrift aus dem 7. Jahrhundert aus Irland oder England.Sie befindet sich heute in der Bibliothek der Kathedrale von Durham (Signatur A.II.17), ein Blatt im Magdalene College in Cambridge.Von der Handschrift sind noch 111 Blätter erhalten, mit einer Darstellung der Kreuzigung Christi und einer verzierten Initiale am Anfang des Johannes-Evangeliums. Die Handschrift entstand im späten 7. Jahrhundert im Kloster Rathmelsigi in Irland oder im Kloster Lindisfarne in England mit irischen Einflüssen. Vom selben Schreiber wurde auch das Echternach-Evangeliar geschrieben. Spätestens im 10. Jahrhundert befand sie sich in Lindisfarne. (de)
- The Durham Gospels is a very incomplete late 7th-century insular Gospel Book, now kept in the Durham Cathedral Dean and Chapter Library (MS A.II.17). A single folio of this manuscript is now in Magdalene College, Cambridge (Pepysian MS 2981). Only two of the fully decorated pages survive: a Crucifixion (the oldest in English art) and the initial to John, and both of these are in poor condition. There were probably originally evangelist portraits and carpet pages, as in other Insular Gospel books conceived on a similar scale. The book was produced at Lindisfarne and brought to Durham when the monks of Lindisfarne removed to Durham because of Viking attacks. The Durham Gospels were written by the same scribe who wrote the Echternach Gospels, now in Paris. The Durham Cathedral Library A. II. 10. Gospel Book Fragment is another manuscript (MS A.II.10) in the cathedral library which is sometimes referred to as the "Durham Gospels", but more usually as the "Durham Gospel Fragment". The Durham Gospels are used at the Enthronement of each new Bishop of Durham, for the new Bishop to take his oath on. During this service, the most senior first King’s Scholar from Durham School holds the Gospels for the Bishop to take his oath. (en)
