- EV Rebate Program: The Illinois EPA plans to open the next rebate application cycle in mid-January 2025. The Illinois General Assembly has appropriated $14 million for rebates in the current fiscal year. Application materials will be available on the EV Rebate website shortly before the application cycle opens. As a reminder, applications must be postmarked on or after the first day of the next open cycle and within 90 days of purchase of the vehicle and meet all other eligibility criteria.
