Hwy. 17 closed due to river flooding at King’s Ferry
BRYAN COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - UPDATE (8:25 a.m.): Georgia Department of Transportation has closed Highway 17 due to flooding at Kings Ferry.
BRYAN CO - All lanes are affected by flooding on SR 25 S at Ogeechee River/Chatham Co Line (mm 9.18) due to road flooding. Use alt. routes.

UPDATE: Richmond Hill Fire says you can travel on Highway 17 in both directions.
The southbound side is down to one lane in the flooded area.
Highway 17 is closed in both directions due to flooding from the Ogeechee River, according to Georgia Department of Transportation.
The closure is from Canebrake Road to Mulberry Drive.
The river reached 7.8′ as of 5:49 a.m., breaking a previous record.
