GDOT: Hwy 204 closed at Morgan’s Bridge going into Chatham Co.

BRYAN COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - According to Bryan County Sheriff’s Office, the Georgia Department of Transportation has closed the section of Highway 204 at Morgan’s Bridge going into Chatham County.

This closure comes as officials anticipate water peaking at the Ogeechee River and onto the road.

Authorities say they will continue to give updates to the public when an estimated date to reopen is finalized.
