Naming problem

[edit]

According to http://portal.just.ro (court cases directory of the Romanian Justice Department), his real name is Paul-Philippe al României, or Paul Philippe al României (meaning Paul Philippe of Romania). Thus neither Lambrino, nor Hohenzollern. Also applies to his son. Do note that in court cases he is sometimes called His Royal Highness, Prince Paul Philippe al României. That being said, "Prince" is not a political function or administrative position, but a nobility title. Tgeorgescu (talk) 00:07, 9 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

An international arrest warrant has been issued about his person. See "AL ROMANIEI PAUL PHILIPPE". Poliția Română (in Romanian). 27 January 1915. Retrieved 21 December 2020. Tgeorgescu (talk) 01:31, 24 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, on his birth certificate which I found in a book Familia Regala Romana, his name is Paul of Romania. Jatayou (talk) 14:06, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

guilty

[edit]

I included the info in the correct property. Jatayou (talk) 14:03, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Jatayou: Yup, he was condemned, that's a fact. Whether was himself intentionally guilty or just a gullible fool used by others as a pawn remains to be seen. As Hanlon's razor says, "never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity".
Oh, yes, I received an e-mail that I'm invited to join the Illuminati and receive 30 million dollars per year. Some people would fall for it. Tgeorgescu (talk) 02:34, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I agree . The same way as for Prince Paul, it is not because I updated a database that I judge him. Best regards, Jatayou (talk) 19:19, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Commoner

[edit]

He cannot be a Commoner because he is a member of the Hohenzollern Family. Jatayou (talk) 20:34, 27 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No, he is not and has never been a member of the Hohenzollern Family or the House of Hohenzollern, even if he is related to them and he claims to be a member, this is because he is not a dynast as the marriage of his grandmother and grandfather was not a dynastic Union, therefore he and his descendants will always be commoners, unless his first-half cousins (descendants of his half-uncle King Michael I) raise him to a noble rank, which is very unlikely
