I must call attention to Administrators' noticeboard firmly again that editor "Csigabi" always abuses of his editor's rights because he does constant arbitrary actions that he makes quasi for the benefit of Wikidata but in fact these actions are arbitary and they serve only his personal revenge. Csigabi's last action was to protect after "Flóra Kádár" article until 15 March 2015 and now "Vladika Radivojević", "Judith Szűcs" and "Abetchew Bayan" until 10 March 2015 because of edit warring but this justification was only an arbitrary and unrealistic motivation. His Gang: namely editors Pallerti, Hungarikusz Firkász intentionally provoke me by generating a dispute which is negligible for them but it will be a pretense for Csigabi to protect this article at the point where his gang members editing is visable. Csigabi is an completely inappropriate for his task, service as an administrator because he violates the most important norm, rule for the admins to be, to remain neutral and he always acts for his favourites, his friends and he always wants to punish his putative enemies. I would like to remind the administrators that there was a debate between Csigabi and me and he has accused me to do vandalism and it has become clear that his accusation was false.

So he has had no right to protect the page named above, I've already justified that the dispute is personal between the administrator named above and me and Csigabi has just begun to pick a quarrel between us. I myself ask other administrators warn him to his rights and they who has viewed, monitored my former editings can have experienced that I am a good and useful editor and I am working for the benefit of Wikipedia and Wikidata and the administator who is not neutral, is completely inappropriate for his task, service as an administrator. OK, I appreciate [[User:ValterVB|ValterVB]] & [[User:Caliburn|Caliburn]]'s request about lowercase vs. capitals but other examples like actor from Hungary or Hungarian actor is purely matter of taste, because though I am not a native English-speaker (nor Csigabi) but on Commons these forms. actors from ...country are used. But I would like to emphasize, the conflict between us has not erupted from these little things, the reasons are deeper and Csigabi deliberately picked a quarrel with me.

*'''Closed''' - {{Ping|Csigabi}} any further use of your sysop tools while involved will result in a desysop thread being made. Any further edit warring or personally attacks ''from any of the involved users'' will result in a block to prevent this ridiculous behaviour. {{Ping|Borgatya}} I respect your education, sir, but that does not give you leave to insult other users here, nor does it mean that you "own" items or that your opinion is any more valid than anyone else's. Global Pushing

continuation of Wikidata:Administrators' noticeboard/Archive/2014/10#Global pushing?

see Q18729000 and all linked Wikipedia articles. Is it possible to block these IP's for a longer time perdiod? --Pasleim (talk) 13:46, 13 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The user(s) created articles in at least 24 25 wikis:

--Pasleim (talk) 09:59, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I asked the stewards to delete them since this is clearly cross-wiki spam.--Ymblanter (talk) 19:58, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
All but two have now been deleted, those two remaining because the wikis they are on have local admins which can handle them. Those should be gone soon. Ajraddatz (talk) 17:37, 15 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Started again; before they're merged (and later hopefully deleted), see Q18785011. Jared Preston (talk) 11:45, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Bump. He/She/It is still at it. The stewards need to do something about this! Jared Preston (talk) 16:30, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Is there a reason why we don't merge Q18729000 and Q18785011 now? Of course, that wouldn't help with the spamming attack, but it would help keep Wikidata cleaner. Is there a benefit in temporarily having two items when it comes to watching the user's activities? --YMS (talk) 16:48, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
No benefit, no. Merged them now. Maybe there are more items out there too... Jared Preston (talk) 20:21, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I hope a steward will soon consider this request --Pasleim (talk) 21:13, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
A new addition. Jared Preston (talk) 18:40, 30 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
And there is another one.--Vyom25 (talk) 10:01, 1 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Have taken some actions, though prior example says that the egotists will be back with variations. Can I ask that further reports be made to m:Vandalism reports. There are a number of tools that stewards and meta admins can utilise to manage this sort of thing.  — billinghurst sDrewth 10:13, 4 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have been through and deleted the remaining pages crosswiki for the small wikis, and pushed jaWP I have removed the links here, and requested deletion of the page. I will hazard a guess that they will be back with a variation, so please notify as above.  — billinghurst sDrewth 10:23, 4 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much! Jared Preston (talk) 12:42, 4 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Next round. --Succu (talk) 09:48, 5 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

As suggested, I've filed the issue at meta:Vandalism reports. I've merged the most recent item to the older one and blocked the IP for a month, not that it will make any difference... Jared Preston (talk) 10:41, 5 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I have deleted mrWP and again asked jaWP to delete their page. I note that the WD page still exists, and there is a redirect from Q18964885. Just keep deleting them. To note that I have a global filter which does flag the name, but maybe I will need to whack it harder, though will wait a few days.  — billinghurst sDrewth 12:49, 5 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Jared Preston, billinghurst, Ajraddatz: Another case. Matěj Suchánek (talk) 18:18, 18 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to say "report this at meta", but it seems they don't give much of a toss over there after nearly a fortnight without action. I can't delete the Wikipedia entries, only a steward can. Maybe billinghurst would do the honours? After all, he's the only nice guy that's helped at all in this matter. Jared Preston (talk) 18:22, 18 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
There's not actually much more what could be done on Meta... "Javad Ramezani" is already blacklisted on Meta, so it's not possible to create pages using that title. But now he is using different alphabets, so it's hard to catch them by filter. --Stryn (talk) 18:34, 18 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
It's not that we don't give a toss, it's that we can't act on most of the pages that are created. If the wiki has local admins, then we can only tag them for deletion and wait for local admins - something anyone can do. Either that, or we invoke the "crosswiki" clause that allows us to act on projects with active admins, and risk people being very upset at us... No way to win! I've tagged the kmwiki page for deletion; the siwiki page has already been tagged and the others deleted. Ajraddatz (talk) 21:39, 18 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Stewards done nothing? Furthest from the reality. Spam filter, deletion requests, deletions, and protections crosswiki. Have we got everything? Probably not.  — billinghurst sDrewth 05:41, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I ask You to take an action that I can't run due to lack of authority. In Russian Wikipedia has a category Категория:Методы очистки газовых смесей, which correspond on the English Wikipedia Category:Solid-gas separation. I ask You to make the necessary links for communication between categories.

Messing with religion or worldview (P140) and several main items

@Genium: has started some sort of campaign against the use of Catholicism (Q1841) as a statement for religion or worldview (P140), because «Catholicism is not a religion». I have tried to explain to him why his edits are wrong, but he has reverted me, in several items without making much sense. For instance, he reuses this link as a reference even when I pointed out that it does not refers to Catholicism (Q1841) but to Catholic Church (Q9592). Referring to the value type "religion (Q9174)", Property talk:P140 states that this «property should use items as value that contain property instance of (P31). On these, the value for instance of (P31) should be an item that uses subclass of (P279) with value religion (Q9174) (or a subclass thereof)», so that is precisely the case of Catholicism (well, at least before Genium's reinterpretation). Anyway, all his recent edits seem disruptive to me, but I can not act on it because I am involved. Could someone else pay attention to this issue? The user had the option to discuss this with me or in the property talk page, but instead chose to start an edit war, in which I will not take part. Andreasm háblame / just talk to me 01:10, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

There is no campaign here, Catholicism is not a new religion created from Christianism, it's an instance of Catholic Church. The meaning of Religion and Church is different, so I propose to create a new property to distinguish the two : church. genium ⟨✉⟩ 03:29, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Massive incorrect inserts of drama television series (Q1366112)

drama television series (Q1366112) is specifically a television genre, but GZWDer (flood) massively inserted it as instance of (P31) in several hundreds of elements. The mere insertion of it in that property should already be incorrect, as it should be inserted as genre (P136), if anywhere, but it also has been inserted in many elements that are not even television productions, like novels, manga, etc, and also on television productions that are not dramas at all (perhaps as a confusion with Japanese television drama (Q399811), which has nothing to do with drama television series (Q1366112), and which also would be incorrect in many items as noted above). This was done around a week ago, last February 16th, but I discovered it just now. The user (which I suppose is a bot, as it has been doing nearly 500 edits each 4 minutes) has not edited since then and the bot's controller's user page reads "Semi-Retired", that's why I came here in the first place. What should be done?--Manbemel (talk) 02:25, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Manbemel, please bring this up on GZWDer's talk page first. If you don't get a response you can always come here. Multichill (talk) 08:54, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Manbemel:
  • P31: I'm going to fix it by autolist, but currently https://tools.wmflabs.org/magnustools/ is broken and I'm going to do that later. If this page is fixed you can also do it.
  • Inserts in novels, manga, etc: Several articles' topic is both novels or manga and television dramas based on it. If there're many such item I'm going to remove these incorrect statements.

Csigabi's constant arbitrary actions

I am calling attention to Administrators' noticeboard that editor "Csigabi" always abuses of his editor's rights because he does constant arbitrary actions that he makes quasi for the benefit of Wikidata but in fact these actions are arbitary and they serve only his personal revenge. Csigabi's last action was to protect "Flóra Kádár" article until 15 March 2015 because of edit warring but this justification was only an arbitrary and unrealistic motivation. Thank you for your kind attention!Borgatya (talk) 13:00, 26 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Csigabi, your opinion on this? Matěj Suchánek (talk) 13:15, 26 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Matěj Suchánek:His incoherent words speak for themselves. He went into edit war with another editor, who, being aware that I am and administrator here asked advice. So I protected the article to prevent further edit warring, knowing all too well that he would not stop. Please have a look at this edit history where he, though did not reverted, simpy overwrote the same editor's good faith edit. He even reverts/overwrites the articles to the wrong version in order to have his presumed truth justified. These kind of his edits are definitely not good faith edits. If you look at his edit history on February 26 between 13:14 and 13:26 you can see it yourself that he simply reverted a great number of my edits, not because they were wrong but because they were not his. As a matter of fact, being a Hungarian native, I follow the edits of huwiki editors on Wikidata. I correct their mistakes, give them advice, request changes, etc. All of them listen to me and follow the advice I give. I tried to have a discussion with him on certain formal requirements of his edits so that they comply with the guidelines of Wikidata (e.g. begin descriptions with a lowercase letter except when uppercase would normally be required). Now please have a look at the history of Borgatya's talk page. In addition to the foul language he used you can see that he simply reverted my requests, I doubt if he had ever read them. For your information: this guy on huwiki, under a different user name, has been blocked about two dozen times for the exact same reason. It seems that he pursues the same attitude here. --Csigabi (talk) 16:36, 26 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism to date of birth property

There have been a series of edits in languages other than English to date of birth (P569) which change the description to a specific date. I speculate the dates are the birthdays of the vandals.
