The location is also great: a taxi ride to Chunxi Road costs just around 10 yuan, and there are plenty of dining options and lively food stalls nearby, making the area vibrant. In terms of facilities, the hotel offers a large gym and laundry room—absolute essentials for guests staying multiple days. Additionally, there are four private elevators requiring key card access, ensuring excellent privacy. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of dishes, with some items rotated daily. The Mianyang rice noodles (a local Sichuan specialty) were particularly delicious! Overall, this stay was a perfect experience—full marks in every aspect!"

"I have stayed here once before, and I chose this Mercure again when I came to Chengdu this time. The service has been upgraded this year, with free 10-kilometer shuttle service. It is convenient to go to Xindu East Station and the Panda Base. The front desk was as enthusiastic as ever when checking in, and sent welcome tea and asked about the room requirements. "I had to switch hotels because my previous booking wasn't ideal, so I opted for Mercure, part of Huazhu Hotels. I chose a chain hotel for reliability and peace of mind. Even though it opened in 2020, it still pleasantly surprised me. **Service:** Upon arrival, the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic. They even upgraded my room, which was a truly thoughtful gesture and a huge relief compared to my previous hotel experience. They provided two room cards and called me after I got to the room to ensure everything was satisfactory – truly attentive service! They also offered complimentary welcome fruit and had a laundry service. Given the heavy rain in Chengdu on the 3rd and my last-minute hotel switch, the laundry service was a huge plus, especially for my still-wet clothes. A big thumbs up! 👍🏻 **Facilities:** The decor is simple yet elegant and comfortable. Despite the 2020 renovation, the toilet and shower fixtures in the bathroom are still very new, and there were no unpleasant odors whatsoever. 👍🏻 **Environment:** Unlike some 'design' hotels that tend to be in the suburbs, this Mercure is conveniently located in a lively downtown area of Jinniu District. The materials used, typical of a reliable chain hotel, also inspire confidence. Upon entering, there was a pleasant, comforting scent, and I experienced no discomfort, shortness of breath, or urge to cough, which is excellent. The room itself was bright and spacious. **Hygiene:** From the lobby to the room, everything was spotless. The shower drain was free of any debris, and there were no cigarette ashes or unpleasant odors in the room. The tabletops were all quite clean. 👍🏻 **P.S.** I only took one photo myself; the other pictures are from the hotel's official gallery. However, they accurately represent the room I stayed in – no false advertising here! Established brands like this one truly prove their worth. Many newer establishments often come with more hype than substance, so it's wise to be cautious."

"This hotel has a wonderfully quaint and traditional feel to it. Every spot is incredibly photogenic. The staff were also exceptionally warm and attentive. The Dandan noodles for breakfast were a standout – truly authentic, though I forgot to snap a photo! The complimentary cold brew tea from the front desk was delicious, and they even gave me a panda plushie as a farewell gift. All in all, it was a fantastic experience. Five-star recommendation; definitely don't miss it if you're visiting Chengdu!"

"The rooms are very much worth the value. Note that the entrance is further to the side and the lobby is on the 5th floor. Besides that it's a all-round near a 5 star experience. If your intrest or reason of stay is in the new parts of the tainfu district and further new construction in the longfu new area. This place is right. The rooms are kept very clean amd modern.. They provide good branded bottled water in the rooms. The rooms have good veiws if your staying in the exct rooms or the family rooms which have a separator for the two queen beds. The reception and staff are very nice and quick with handling passports. For sleeping the ac is moderately silent but just averagly noticeable so turn it off when it's cool enough to sleep well. The rooms can get dark for better sleep and I do reccomend the breakfast it has a wide selection. This is the second - third stay since it's probably the best value for money you can get in terms of clean modern silent and spacious, atleast if you got membership status in your trip acc."

The front desk lady told me it was renovated this year. We booked a family suite with two queen beds. The room was very large and the value was excellent. The front desk lady was very friendly and took the initiative to explain the parking lot. The room was clean and the breakfast was rich. I will definitely stay again!"
