Have you ever invited every single person in your Partiful suggestions to a party, assuming that only half of them will show up — and then been overwhelmed when they all actually came? I can only imagine that’s what happened to Danielle Haim, who celebrated her birthday on Thursday night at Joyface in New York (she officially turns 36 on Sunday).
Per TMZ and “Page Six,” Danielle’s guest list included her sisters-slash-bandmates, Este and Alana, and several of her fellow Taylor Swift posse members, including Ice Spice, Cara Delevingne, and Zoë Kravitz. They were joined by downtown cool kids like Evan Mock, Jeremy O. Harris, and Tommy Dorfman, as well as a bunch of comedians (Ayo Edebiri, Ziwe, Jerrod Carmichael) and A-list actors Shailene Woodley and Anya Taylor-Joy. And then there is this assortment of absolute wild cards: Addison Rae, Darren Criss, Noah Centineo, Aziz Ansari (??), and literally Sacha Baron Cohen. This group truly spans industries, generations, and niche fandoms. Notably not present was Taylor Swift herself, who is probably busy consoling her valentine after a brutal Super Bowl loss.
In addition to getting every celebrity alive to show up for her birthday, Danielle also got several of the attendees to kiss her. Unfortunately, all of them were men. But fortunately, Haim (the band) did share all the images of its lead member getting her birthday smooches, along with a caption implying that they have a single dropping soon:
Perhaps the real explanation for this star-studded party is that they were filming a music video? Or maybe Danielle is just really cool and popular. Whatever the case, I would give anything to eavesdrop on a conversation between Sacha Baron Cohen and Addison Rae.
