This show is quite good in my opinion, and anyone who likes the setlist should download the show, because it is nearly flawless throughout. Check out the following two nights as well.

Perrin is a twit.

Anon (02/14/2008), Birdsong is most certainly a ballad, verse set to music. It tells a story if you actually listen to the words. Lookup ballad on Wikipedia.

Mr. Tea, Perrin is an awesome resource on this site providing some nice insights on many shows.
-John (07/01/2011)

Jon is a tool as well!

this show is a smoker!

-steve (04/11/2014)

Bird Song is a ballad. It's Lyrics were written by Robert Hunter as a tribute to Janis Joplin. Sort of his way of saying goodbye to her. So yeah, definitely a ballad.

Perrin is one of the best, if not the best thing about these comments.

Whenever I see a setlist with unusual songs/order, Perrin usually has taken the time to say if or how many times they played them. And don't try to check him because I've never found him to be wrong.

And no one is forcing anyone to read his comments. This is America - we don't have to read what we don't want to.

Go Perrin!

Do you not have lives?

If people don’t like 80-82 Dead then these 70’s fans aren’t deadheads.

..thanks Sirius for sharing 2/26/1981 Chicago IL with us tonight... an awesome treat of course..

Any show from 4/1/1965 thru 7/9/1995 should be rated as an A! You forget there can not be any new shows....
-Anonymous (10/13/2021)

Your namesake agrees with you Anonymous. Thanks Sirius for playing this today and any show in that date range you mention has a certain individual playing guitar and singing who makes it worthwhile. I say this with confidence despite obviously not having heard every show. Even on his worst nights, something would leave your jaw on the floor.
