ABSTRACT

The Voice Controlled Wireless Notice Board is a modern system that allows users to update and display content on a
digital notice board using voice commands. By integrating voice recognition and wireless communication, this project
provides an efficient, hands-free solution for real-time information display in various settings like schools, offices, and
public spaces.
INTRODUCTION

• BLOCK DIAGRAM
Voice Command Interface: This is the input from
the user (smartphone or Bluetooth) that sends voice
commands to the system.
HC-05 Bluetooth Module: Receives the Bluetooth
signals and communicates with the ESP8266 Wi-Fi
module.
ESP8266 Wi-Fi Module: Acts as the central
controller, processing commands and managing the
wireless communication between components.
I2C Module: Helps interface the ESP8266 with the
16x2 LCD Display using fewer pins.
16x2 LCD Display: Displays the updated notices or
messages as per the voice command.
Buzzer: Provides feedback to indicate actions like
successful updates or errors.

OBJECTIVE

The system allows users to control the display and view messages or information based
on voice commands sent from a smartphone. Additionally, the project aims to provide an
accessible, hands-free solution for users to interact with display boards, with features
such as feedback through a buzzer for confirmation.
Key objectives:
1.To develop a wireless display board that can receive and interpret voice commands via
Bluetooth.
2.To integrate the system with an easy-to-use interface for controlling the display board.
3.To utilize ESP8266 and Bluetooth communication to ensure seamless interaction.
4.To provide audible feedback through a buzzer for user interaction confirmation.
5.To demonstrate the feasibility of voice-controlled systems in everyday applications like
smart homes, public display systems, and accessibility solutions.

ADVANTAGES

1. Hands-Free Operation: Users can update notices using voice commands, eliminating the
need for manual input.
2. Wireless Communication: Notices can be updated remotely via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or GSM,
reducing physical effort.
3. Time-Efficient: Instant updates reduce the time required for manually changing notices.
4. User-Friendly: Easy to operate, even for non-technical users.
5. Error Reduction: Minimizes human errors in writing and updating notices.
DISADVANTAGES

Voice Recognition Limitations:

Voice recognition technology might struggle with accents, background noise, or speech disorders,
leading to inaccurate commands or misunderstandings. This could limit the system's effectiveness in
diverse environments.
Security Concerns:
Wireless communication can be vulnerable to hacking or unauthorized access, leading to potential
misuse or tampering of the notice board content. Implementing strong security protocols would be
necessary to prevent such breaches.
Hardware Limitations:
The microphones and speakers used in the system may not have the best range or quality, resulting in
miscommunication or failure to detect voice commands effectively, especially in a noisy environment.
Limited Voice Command Vocabulary:
The system might only understand a limited set of commands, reducing flexibility for users. Expanding
the vocabulary could require significant processing power or training of the voice recognition model.
APPLICATIONS

1. Educational Institutions: Schools, colleges, and universities can use it to update

announcements, exam schedules, and event details.
2. Offices & Corporate Environments: Used for employee notifications, meeting
schedules, and company updates.
3. Hospitals & Healthcare Centers: Can display emergency alerts, patient-related
information, and staff announcements.
4. Shopping Malls & Public Places: Used for advertisements, promotional offers, and
general information.
5. Railway Stations & Airports: Can display real-time travel updates, flight/train
schedules, and important announcements.
CONCLUSION

The Voice Controlled Wireless Notice Board project demonstrates an innovative

solution for displaying notices using voice commands and wireless technology. It
allows users to update and manage the board remotely without manual input,
making it more convenient and accessible. This project highlights the potential of
integrating voice recognition and wireless communication for smarter, hands-free
notice display systems, with future improvements focused on enhancing accuracy
and security.
