Dinosaurs?
● Dinosaurs were the main animals on Earth for more than
150 million years.
● Some dinosaurs could fly, and some were larger than
elephants.
● Some of them were the largest and scariest creatures that
ever walked on land.

Dinosaurs Lived
● Dinosaurs lived from about 245 to 65.5 million
years ago. They were common during the Triassic,
Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods.
● Dinosaurs lived throughout the world, and their
fossils have been found on every continent.
● They lived in all different kinds of environments as
well, ranging from tropical forests to dry, sandy

● During the Triassic time period, the continents of the Earth were
conjoined, forming the landmass of Pangaea.
● It all came to an end because of volcanic eruption and global cooling or

● It was in the Jurassic period that Pangaea began to break apart, and it split into
two continents that are Gondwana and Laurasia.
● As for the dinosaurs of the Jurassic period, most of them evolved into the
