Dance as a Competition
(Cheer Dance)
Cheerleading- is an event that consist
of cheers and organized routines for
sports team motivation, audience
entertainment, or competition.
Cheer Dance- is a dynamic combination
of cheerleading moves and stylish dance. We
will learn a variety of high energy routines
performed to fun music. Group formations and
individual expression will have you feeling like
a professional cheerleader.

Jumps- jumping requires stamina, strength,
and flexibility and they greatly improves
every areas in cheer dance routine.
Tumbling- very dynamic and excellent way to
shake crowd up quickly. Properly
incorporated tumbling can be real attention
getter and crowd pleaser.

Situation- The VCA Dance Troupe is looking of
interested student in cheerleading and become a member
of the said group. One of the basic requirement is to
demonstrate and pass a simple video of cheer dance
motions and movements
Product- Video Clip about Cheer Dance motions and
movements
Standard- Correct Movement- 8 pts. Posture
and Poise-5 pts. Execution- 3 pts. Total= 15 pts.
