Meaning of consumer awareness?
Consumer Awareness is a demonstration of
ensuring the purchaser or buyer knows about
the data and information about items, products,
administrations, and buyers' privileges.
Consumer awareness is significant with the goal
that purchasers can settle on the best choice and
settle on the ideal decision.
Legal measures available to
consumers in India
Consumer Protection Act, 1986: This act was
introduced to address issues such as adulterated and sub-
standard goods.
Indian Contract Act, 1972: This act regulates buyers by
requiring them to sell authentic products.
Sales of Goods Act, 1930: This act protects consumers
who receive sub-standard products.
Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, 1954: This act
confirms the purity of food items.
Trade Marks Act, 1999: This act protects consumers
from false marks.
Standards of Weights and Measures Act, 1976: This
act provides some relief to consumers.

awareness?
1. We should differentiate our business. The first
step to building customer awareness is to
distinguish our brand or company's offerings
from our competitors' offerings.

What are the rights of consumer?
Rights of consumers: Six consumer rights have been
defined in the Bill, including the right to:
i) Be protected against marketing of goods and services
which are hazardous to life and property.
ii) Be informed of the quality, quantity, potency, purity,
standard and price of goods or services.
iii) Be assured of access to a variety of goods or services
at competitive prices.
How should consumer rights be
protected?
Right to be Informed:
They must be aware of the quality, quantity, potency,
purity, standard, and price of goods or services they
purchase.
Consumers must insist on receiving all the
information about the product before they make a
purchase and avoid falling prey to high-pressure
