Education is a step to provide information,

is a common procedure performed in dentistry. Tooth
extraction is an act of removing a tooth from its socket
on the alveolar bone. Indications for tooth extraction
include severe carious teeth, pulp necrosis, impacted
teeth, for orthodontic treatment purposes,
traumatized teeth, supernumeraries, and ankylotic
deciduous teeth.

5. Avoid smoking, drinking hot water or alcohol during 24 hours after tooth extraction

6. Avoid gargling and touching the wound after the tooth extraction using your fingers or tongue

7. becarefull when brush your teeth, please using the smooth tooth brush and avoid the lesion

8. three days after tooth extraction, if the swollen continue getting worse please contact the dentist or hospital

9. please do the control and remove the suture after 14 days

Result
Of the 58 samples conducted by monitoring and evaluation
audit, there was 1 patient who had no educational
documentation after tooth extraction in trackcare.
Achievement in september 98% and achievement in October
100%. From these results after being given education directly
and indirectly (giving leaflets) shows patients know things to
avoid and note about post dental extraction. and no more
anxiety or questions about the post-extraction procedure

conclusion

The patient knows the things to avoid and pay


attention to regarding the post-tooth extraction
procedure. Increase patient knowledge and
awareness of the importance of maintaining dental
and oral health so that regular check-ups are carried
out at least every 6 months to the dentist with the
aim of detecting dental and gum problems in the
early stages such as small cavities so that fillings can
be done directly without having to do root canal
treatment or If a tooth is extracted, it must be
replaced with dentures.
