problems you have garbage
encountered in your
barangay?
Barangay 5 has different current problems with its ecology, such as
drainage problems caused by waste that has been produced by people
who are irresponsible with their garbage.
The electrical wires on the road almost touched the ground, which caused
traffic. Trucks are the most commonly affected by it because wire cables
are hooked on trucks, which is why traffic occurs.
Barangay 5 has a lot of problems regarding garbage, especially the
garbage on the side of the road. It causes the drainage to get clogged. It
sometimes causes traffic too, because the garbage is a nuisance on the
  road.
                 C. Action of the barangay
As for the trash, LGU's provide a large trash can for huge trash, and it has garbage
disposal time in the afternoon from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., and then when it arrives at 8
p.m., it will be dumped there in the main garbage dump so that it can be organized
and to prevent littering around. This is a good action to prevent diseases that people
can get from garbage and prevent the death of fish in the sea because it may flow into
the ocean and cause widespread fish deaths. Lastly, the widespread fish deaths may
affect the entire livelihood of the fishermen.
      D. RECOMMENDATION
Barangay's should be more focusing in ecological
problems, therefore this may help the barangay to
be more progressive, clean and responsible. As a
result of the these problems, people are not
comfortable with this. However, these are some
factors and waste to solve these problems.
IMPROPER WAY OF WASTE DISPOSAL;
"TAPON MO, BASURA MO"
Multa: 500 pesos
This is commonly used by barangay's that have problems in waste
disposal. Why is there a problem like this? It is because of having an
irresponsible citizens in a barangay. In barangay 5, caloocan.
Leaders should implement this, a proper way of waste disposal. This
barangay needs responsible leaders that would lead the barangay
more progressive. Leaders should be the first man that will do this.
Base on what the team have gathered, do not just implement this
rules but the maker would have been the first to do that. Responsible
leaders in order to have a responsible citizens.
UNORGANIZED WIRES
Here in Caloocan, this is one of the common difficulties of many barangay's.
The unorganized wires, through years, these unsolved problems just turned
out into a grave. Barangay's cannot solve this but with the help of LGU's, the
impossible can turn ito possible. However, barangay's must implement rules
and regulations to avoid this kind of issues. It is impossible to solve this yet
this leaders must also consider the safety of its people, the disturbance that
may cause of this problem.
DRAINAGE
Unpleasant smells of drainage can affect people health. But with the help of
proper waste disposal, this will be the best way to avoid drainage problems. This
problems can harm people. The LGU's have the power to solve this problem. By
implementing "Clean as one Program" this program where people help each other
to clean wastes and litters after that, they have food to receive for them to be
convinced that this program will be continued.
In terms of recommendations, the focus is on addressing
the problem of unorganized wires and waste disposal.
The recommendation suggests involving the LGUs to
help solve the issue of unorganized wires, emphasizing
the importance of collective efforts. Additionally, a
proposed fine of 500 pesos for irresponsible waste
disposal aims to encourage responsible behavior among
citizens. The emphasis is on the leadership's
responsibility to set an example and enforce rules for the
benefit of the community's progress and environmental
  well-being.
