La vida de Cesar Chávez (1927-
1993):
Nacido en la granja de su familia en Yuma, Arizona, Chávez fue testigo de las severas
condiciones que los trabajadores de la granja soportaban. Los trabajadores eran
rutinariamente explotados por quienes los empleaban, a menudo sin recibir paga,
viviendo en chozas a cambio de su trabajo, sin servicios médicos, ni otros servicios
básicos. Sin una voz que los uniera, no tenían medios para mejorar su posición. Chávez
